Terms of Service
Plain-language terms for working with Craft & Code — the same points appear in every project quote.
Scope of work
Every project starts with a written scope: pages, features, integrations, and deliverables. Anything inside the scope is included in the quoted price; anything new is quoted separately before we build it — no surprise invoices.
Quotes & payment
Projects are billed at a fixed quote, not hourly. Standard terms are 50% upfront to schedule work and 50% on completion before handover — smaller projects may be billed in one milestone. Payment methods and schedules are confirmed in your quote.
Timelines & delays
We commit to the timeline in your quote and share progress throughout. Timelines depend on timely feedback — if content, assets, or approvals arrive late, the schedule shifts by the same amount.
What we need from you
You're responsible for providing accurate content, brand assets, account access (where needed), and timely approvals. You confirm you have the rights to any material you send us.
Intellectual property
Once the final payment clears, you own your website — code, design, and content — outright. We retain the right to show the work in our portfolio. Pre-existing tools, libraries, and our internal frameworks remain ours; you get a perpetual license to use them as part of your site.
Third-party services
Hosting, domains, AI APIs, analytics, and similar services are billed by their providers and governed by their terms. We'll recommend reliable options and set them up under your accounts so you always own them.
Revisions & support
Each deliverable includes a reasonable revision round — we refine until it matches the agreed scope. Every project ships with 30 days of priority support for bugs and launch issues; ongoing maintenance is available as a separate plan.
Liability
We build carefully and test thoroughly, but our total liability is capped at the amount you paid for the project. We're not liable for indirect losses — lost revenue, downtime from third-party providers, or misuse of deliverables.
Cancellation
Either side can end a project in writing. Work completed up to that point is billed proportionally; upfront payments cover work already scheduled or delivered.
Governing law & changes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We may update them occasionally — the version on this page applies to new projects; ongoing projects keep the terms from their quote.
